Sunshine Insurance Race Weekend Thanks Grand Bahama Sponsors

A top law firm, a pharmaceutical company, a popular food market and a leading search engine site are just some of the Grand Bahama sponsors who were recently honoured for helping to make the recent Sunshine Insurance Race Weekend (SIRW) a success.

SIRW officials flew to Grand Bahama recently to thank its second city sponsors for their contribution to the Susan G. Komen Bahamas Race for the Cure® and Marathon Bahamas events.

Komen Bahamas Honourary Chairperson, Willie Moss accompanied Race Weekend PR Chair, Rogan Smith and Sponsorship Chair, Chakita Archer as they made the rounds to Graham Thomspon, PharmaChem Technologies, Sawyer’s Fresh Market, TheBahamasWeekly.com, the Grand Bahama Port Authority (GBPA), Grand Bahama Power Company (GBPC) and Statoil South Riding Point.

Mrs. Moss, a breast cancer survivor of more than 20 years, spent a great deal of time explaining the significance of Race Weekend and encouraging more people to get involved by registering early.

The 8th annual Race Weekend will be held on January 14-15, 2017.

To register visit www.komenbahamas.org and www.marathonbahamas.com.
