Consider a registration in the Susan G. Komen Bahamas Race for the Cure® 5k, Saturday, January 16, 2016.

Not only will you be giving a special gift but contributing towards the eradication of cancer from our community. 100% of ALL proceeds stay in The Bahamas for research, treatment and education.

ACT now as price increase on December 14!

SPREAD THE WORD… SPACE IS FILLING UP FAST

Once capacity is reached, registration will be closed and will NOT reopen. Marathon Bahamas RELAY registrations are trending 32% ahead of 2015 and we expect a sold out event (only 10 relay team spots left). Our relay teams usually wait until January to register. . . .you may be waiting too long this year!

Don’t wait for the last minute and then hear the words SOLD OUT. Register NOW to secure your spot at the starting line.

Make sure you spread the word to your family and friends so that they can get the chance to participate in one or both of the weekend events.

Form a team with your friends, family and colleague. Bring the children. Make it a family event all for the CAUSE!

WIN SOME GREAT AND GRAND PRIZES

At the finish line, Marathon Bahamas will be raffling off two-night hotel stays at Breezes, Hilton and Melia – with the grand prize being a two nights at The Cove Atlantis inclusive of breakfast at Mosaic.

Congratulations Amos Desjardins, winner of Marathon Bahamas’ sweeptake – two-night stay at the Cove Atlantis inclusive of breakfast at Mosaic.

WE COULD REALLY USE YOUR HELP!

Marathon Bahamas is comprised of races made for the people and run by the people. We take pride in working with some of the greatest individual and volunteer groups in the Island.

If you are interested in supporting the runners and walkers, while being on the front line, grab your family, friends and colleagues and form a CHEER ZONE along the Cable Beach and Delaporte areas. Bring your cowbells, drums, horns, noisemakers, music and tons of energy and enthusiasm to encourage our endurance athletes on their trek to the finish line.

Volunteers are key to the success of our premier race – Marathon Bahamas. Our volunteers come from every walk of life, they get involve and, by doing so, give back to the community and make new friends along the way. Marathon Bahamas salutes it’s 700 2016 volunteers!
