Directions:  Junkanoo Beach (start) is less than 1/8 miles west of the Hilton (downtown). Arawak Cay (finish) is about ¼ mile from the Hilton.
   
Weather:  The average January temperature is 66.5 degrees rising to an average of 75.8 degrees.
   
Timing:  The marathon, half marathon, relay and Komen Bahamas Race for the Cure® will be using the Chronotrack System to accurately time the races and quickly provide day-of-race results. A D-Tag timing chip and race number will be issued to all race participants in their entry packet.
   
Entry Requirements:  The marathon and the half marathon are competitive road racing events. Runners and walkers are encouraged to participate. There will be a 7-hour time limit on the course for the marathon.. Every participant must be in adequate health and sufficiently trained to partake in this race. Consult your physician before beginning any endurance training regimen.

Race registration is non-transferrable and non-refundable 

*Late registrants for the 5K (at site) are not guaranteed a t-shirt.
*5k registration will be available at the Sunshine Insurance office on Shirley Street until noon on Friday January 14th.

Packet Pickup:  Marathon, Half Marathon, Relay 
Packet pickup will take place at the expo during expo hours.  Each participant's race package will include a Marathon Bahamas tech shirt (marathon/half marathon) or a t-shirt (relay).

5K 
Packet pickup will on Wednesday thru Friday during race week at Sunshine Insurance office (East Shirley Street), and at the race site on race morning. Each participant’s race package will include a Race for The Cure t-shirt.

$40 per person inclusive a Buffet dinner featuring pasta dishes, salads, desserts, and iced tea.
