Athletes From The Big Apple To Take On Bahamas Full and Half Marathon

NASSAU, Bahamas – Twenty-seven athletes from The Big Apple are about to take a bite out of The Bahamas.

Team In Training (TNT) NYC participants are gearing up to take part in The Bahamas Half and Full marathon.

TNT is the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s groundbreaking charity sports training program. For more than 25 years, TNT has trained athletes of all levels to complete marathons, half marathons, triathlons and 100-mile bike rides while raising funds for lifesaving cancer research.

Team In Training includes teams and individuals who have already raised over $40,000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Next month, the group will arrive in The Bahamas for Marathon Bahamas, which is slated for January 18, 2015.

The event, which is in its sixth year, is designed to raise awareness and funds for cancer.

In 2015, LL Cool Kids, a high fundraising team that is nationally recognized, will take part in Bahamas Marathon. Michael Conlon, owner of Finish Line Physical Therapy and TNT coach, will also participate.
